Paris, 27 June 2016 - For its Metro Line 4 modernisation project, the RATP has chosen FINALCAD for its performance and flexibility.
The RATP is the only organisation in the world with knowledge of metro line management operated on a mixed circuit basis (with automated and non-automated tracks). The modernisation of Metro Line 4 necessitates particularly stringent requirements, associated with the need to remain accessible to travellers throughout the construction works and requiring full operability without any major disruption.
In order to respond to the technicality and complexity of the modernisation of Metro Line 4, the RATP has chosen to digitise its construction management process with FINALCAD in order to improve the integration of the project stakeholders, and to create a digital archive of site records for years to come.
FINALCAD’s involvement in the Line 4 modernisation project includes the creation of quality control sheets, progress records, issue logs and rail track planning.

With around 700,000 daily passengers, Line 4 is the busiest non-automated line of the Parisian network. Established in 1908, today Line 4 includes 27 stations extending over 12.1 km.
