Since 2017, US-based construction media BuiltWorlds is visiting Europe for a road trip covering the best innovations happening in Europe for the transformation of the construction industry. This year, the BuiltWorlds Meetup in Paris will be a unique opportunity to share experiences from both sides of the Ocean.

Projects are the heart of how the built world thinks. Whether we’re planning a city or neighborhood, developing skyscrapers and buildings, designing an airport, building a bridge, or otherwise, we think about our work in terms of projects. And it’s no secret that the process of planning and executing our projects has been forever altered by emerging technology (hello drones, IoT, advanced software, A.I./machine learning). No stakeholder is exempt. No matter if you’re a Developer, Real Estate Executive, Architect or Engineer, Contractor, Built Tech Creator, or Facilities Manager, you’re all equally responsible for making sense of technology infiltrating the market.
At BuiltWorlds Construction Tech Meetup: Paris (which builds on our Projects conferences in Chicago, NYC, and LA), we’ll explore the strategies and technologies that French companies need to deliver faster, better, and more affordable projects in 2018. You'll have the opportunity to develop relationships with some of the most influential construction players in France.

Networking Reception

The difference between a typical industry event and a BuiltWorlds event? The quality of the people in the room. Join us for a reception hour and connect with the other influencer’s in the room.

François Bastard, The Boston Consulting Group (BCG), in partnership with the World Economic Forum, has developed a series of well-received white papers about the construction industry’s digital challenges and opportunities. Francois will present perspectives from this multiyear effort and also a perspective on the state of digitization in construction in different regions of the world.

Exploring France’s Built Tech Landscape

During this panel discussion, we will explore the balance between focusing on innovation as related to core incremental ideas, product and service offerings, and new products and services that don’t exist in the market.
