Helsinki, November 12th 2015 - Business France selected Finalcad and 9 other startups to represent French Tech at international event for digital startups and growth entrepreneurship Slush, held on November 11-12th, 2015 in Helsinki.
Slush takes place every fall in Helsinki, and has become in six years one of the most famous gatherings for digital entrepreneurs. The event brings together 15 000 Eurasian attendees and more than 3500 companies, including top-tier global technology companies and 1400 startups. For the first time this year, Business France has invited 10 startups selected on the originality of their offer and their growth potential. Finalcad will be one of them.
This event will allow Finalcad to sustain its global development, with a focus on Europe and Asia, by meeting key actors from Scandinavia, Russia and Asia. The two-day event will also be a great opportunity to meet with top-tier international investors, executives and media. Last year, the event gathered more than 750 investors, and 140 venture capital funds from 79 countries. Finalcad will take this opportunity to prepare its Series B round -following a first round in June 2014- to scale up its growth and fuel the development of smart data analytics started last September.
Finalcad will also introduce at Slush its new tagline “Change the way we build”, reflecting its global growth and ambition to transform construction industry practices. Changes brought by Finalcad are not limited to replacing paper with digital tools, but empowering business transformation in industry practices, through technologies such as predictive analytics and digitized processes for prefab logistics. This ambition has been captured in Finalcad’s new “Manifesto” video : “Change the way we build”.
