The 43rd IFAWPCA Convention Seoul 2017 will take place from May 30 - June 2 in Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas, Korea. The event is organized by the International Federation of Asian & Western Pacific Contractors' Association (IFAWPCA) and is hosted by the Construction Association of Korea (CAK).
This year's IFAWPCA is about developement of new fields via combining individual technologies
This year it proceeds under the theme "Convergence and Stepping Forward" where it aims to highlight the construction industry as a key factor in accelerating any country's economic growth.The importance of industry convergence - developement of new fields via combining individual technologies, products from different fields, interconnecting different industries has been on the raise.The construction industry also aims to be a highvalue industry by combining traditional construction methodologies with ICT, Mobile Technology to better tackle complex challenges of the current century such as smart highway construction, application of cost savings systems and advance process mangement software.
