Le Tendre was appointed after demonstrating the skills and experience to take Finalcad through the next stage of its evolution. The company is entering 2020 off the back of a highly successful 2019 with 75 per cent new annual recurring revenue. Le Tendre has been heavily involved in developing Finalcad’s 2020 strategy, working closely with the three founders to build on these solid foundations.

“Finalcad is a leading company, with solid growth, a talented and motivated team, as well as supportive investors. We have some of the biggest names in the industry as clients who have used our platform on over 24,000 projects. 2020 is going to be a significant year as we build out our platform and continue to expand internationally,” said Franck Le Tendre, CEO, Finalcad. “I’m truly excited to be leading this company through the next stage of its growth. We firmly believe digitalisation will tackle the industry-wide problems of low productivity and margins and will significantly increase the profitability of building and construction projects. For Finalcad, that’s a real growth opportunity.”

Following its $40 million Series C investment round announced in December 2018, and in support of its mission to digitalise the construction industry, Finalcad has been building out its management team and investing in product development. Prior to joining Finalcad as Director of Operations in September 2019, Le Tendre held senior leadership roles in several global software companies, such as Dropbox, SynerTrade, Pursway and SAP, with a specific focus on targeting construction and related industries, including energy and infrastructure.

“The founders of Finalcad had a unique vision and have built a platform that drives digitalisation from the ground up in construction and related industries. Franck has both the software and construction industry experience to enable Finalcad to quickly capitalise of the growth opportunities ahead of it,” said Phillipe Hayat, Managing Partner, Serena.

“Bringing in executives with experience of developing SaaS businesses was part of Finalcad’s plan when we invested in 2018. Franck has already demonstrated how his expertise and experience will help accelerate growth both in France and internationally, and we look forward to working with him to speed up digitalisation in the construction market,” said Ben Tompkins, Managing Partner, Draper Esprit.
